Neill's Materials PlatSil FS-20

Introducing PlatSil FS-20, a 1:1 mix fast setting 20 Shore A addition cure silicone. 

To understand just how great FS silicones are it’s best to compare it to the Transil 20 which became popular by providing low viscosity with a quick cure time and good tear strength. 

The new FS 20 provides the same quick full cure, in the region of 20 to 25 minutes, but has a working time of around 8 minutes. That’s more than double the working time of Transil 20 but with the same fast cure time! This allows it to be Vacuum de gassed and also makes for easier working when doing brush up moulds.

In addition, FS 20 has a very low viscosity and also incredible tear strength. When we say incredible tear strength we really mean incredible. Far better tear strength than Transil 20 and, on average, 25% better tear strength than its closest rivals.

This is a pourable rubber, but it can be easily thickened with PlatThix liquid Thickener for brush on application.
